World Indigenous Day was celebrated by Grade 5 – High Flyers on 8th August, 2019. The programme began with an informative video on Indigenous People followed by a speech by Vedant Katkhede. A shit was also performed by the students which focused on the moral values from the behaviour of the Indigenous People. Later a dance was also performed showcasing the culture of the Indigenous People in India. The students of Grade 2 – Charlie also celebrated this day. A short speech was given on information and importance of celebrating this day. A video was also shown about the lifestyle and the need for this day. Later to show cultural diversity and lifestyle, the students also performed a dance.
