Noel School, Akola has ample open space for playgrounds where various sports and games activities are held. We also have the largest Cricket practice nets in Akola. Recently the school has also developed the multipurpose – ‘Diamond Court’ for Skating, Roll Ball and Basket ball events in the session 2019-2020.

 

Updated Library

Noel has a dedicated Library room. The perfect ambiance for students to read and refer books and also to study. The definitions of ‘school library’ given by various library scientists and associations reflect this heritage. Throughout the world the Library of a school is considered as part and parcel of the academic set-up.

It is created and maintained to serve and support the educational activities of the school. The recommendations of numerous commissions and committees established by the CBSE, Indian Government and various other states for the improvement of school education can bring in desired results. The school has the full complement of library resources, personnel, and necessary infrastructure.

Science Lab

Science is different from any other subject. In order to understand its concepts, one has to look beyond the books and conventional classroom teaching.

Effective teaching and learning of science involves seeing, handling, and manipulating real objects and materials. The knowledge that kids attain in classrooms would be ineffectual unless they actually observe the process and understand the relationship between action and reaction.

English Lab

A setup of 40 computers helps the students to engage in learning speaking and listening skills in English language. English Language teachers engage the students in different activities centrally monitored at teacher’s console. The students enjoy these activites which involves listening and speaking correctly. The English Lab is powered by DLM Software which suits the needs of students and seniors.

Robotics Lab

Noel School, Akola also has the Robotics Lab installed in the Session 2019-2020. Students of Grade 3 to 8 have the robotics periods which engages STEM approach and develops creativity and imagination among the students. The solution is provided by Next Education.

Computer Lab

A computer lab is a space which provides computer services to a defined community. Noel School, Akola is equipped with quality infrastructure for Computer related experiments, projects and activities. Computer lab is technically sound to process all the syllabus requirements. The computer lab consists of 40 computers and we implement NIIT Nguru course for the students.

Digital Classrooms

The digital turn in education has been described across a wide range of initiatives and processes. These include the introduction of digital tools and gadgets as a part of the learning environment, building digital archives and repositories of learning and curriculum building, facilitating remote access to education through information .

Trinity – Multipurpose Hall

Audio Visual Teaching is made in a large screen in the conference hall to appraise the skill of the children and increase the understanding capacities.

The conference hall is used to have Parent Teachers Association’s meetings, Open days and to have Festivals and Awareness Meetings. Our facilitators’ method of teaching technology is entirely different. It is not pouring in process but springing in process. We will not fill the minds of the young children with facts and figures but to give opportunities for creative thinking.

Dance and Music

Dance and Music are the performing art forms taken in the school.

NOEL SPORTS CLUB

A dedicated staff of 6 PTI and 7 Coaches teach the sports and games skills to the students on daily basis for 45 mins to 1 hour. The school has reserved a separate period on daily basis to conduct the Noel Sports Club Activities.
