21st September is observed as Equinox Day. On this day, the length of day and night is equal. Length of day begins to cease from this day and the length of night increases. On the occasion of Equinox day, students of Grade 6 and 7 presented a short program which commenced with the explanation of the mechanism of Equinox. To make things fun, a quiz was conducted in which the students of Grade 6, 7 and 8 participated. They were given gifts as a token of appreciation and to encourage them for the participation in similar type of quizzes. The program was concluded with a short video presentation about ISRO. Some information about India’s recent space mission, Chandrayaan 2 was also given in the program.
