In 1972, the United Nations General Assembly decided to institute a World Development Information Day coinciding with United Nations Day on October 24. The General Assembly had the object of drawing the attention of world public-opinion each year to development problems and the necessity of strengthening international co-operation to solve them. Grade 9 – Zulu celebrated the World Development Information Day on 24th of October, 2019. On this occasion a short informative speech was delivered by the students. Also an interview was conducted by the students telecasting various inventions made in the field of games, agriculture and science. A puppet show showing hazards of mobile phone was performed by the student, which gave a message that if technology is not used wisely, it can ruin human life. The Principal also guided the students on this occasion explaining them the changing global scenario and the role of students as future global citizens and the nature of their actions which will decide the world’s future goals.
