24-11-2018 Monuments of India – Exhibition The students of Std. 5th to 9th of Noel School, Akola (CBSE School) organized an exhibition on Monuments of India. The monuments of Qutub Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, Lotus Temple, Parliament, Golden Temple, Hawa Mahal, Char Minar, Taj Mahal and Gol Gumbaz were prepared with painstaking efforts by the students of Std. 5th to 9th. Each section of these classes was assigned to prepare a monument looking at the complexity of the structure to be made. The idea was conceptualized by the Principal, Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir. The Art Teacher, Mr. Rajesh Chaware Sir worked upon the idea and finalized the monuments after understanding the dimensions and the complexity of these wonderful ancient and modern monuments of India. The completion of the models of the monuments took around 3 months from planning to presentation. The monuments were made by students along with Art teacher’s help in the school itself. A short time was engaged for the preparation of these models on regular basis amidst exams and other hectic school activities. The students learnt various skills of art and craft, proportions, mathematical calculations and also collected and presented information about the history of these monuments. The exhibition was displayed during the Result day for Class 1 to 7 and Paper Showing of Class 8 to 10. The parents appreciated the work of the students and congratulated the students, staff and the management for such a wonderful and a novel exhibition presented in the school.
