The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi recently launched Swachhata He Seva Campaign in India and as per the CBSE guidelines, a programme was organised by the students of Grade 10 of Noel School, Akola. The programme commenced with an introduction by the hosts, Shreyash Dikondwar and Sanchit Khadkotkar. They highlighted the aims and objectives of the campaign to reinforce sanitation as everyone’s business and also focused on plastic waste management as its key theme. To make the point more clear a video was shown about replacement of plastic cutlery with edible cutlery. A street play was also presented to emphasize on the reduction of single use plastic use. The skit ended with a ‘Green Pledge’. The Principal, Mr. Anosh Manwar also guided the students and emphasized on shunning the single use plastic in every possible way.
