27-11-2018 Sports Festival 2018 (Class 5 to 10) The Annual Sports Festival of Noel School, Akola (CBSE) was held on in the school premises. The Sports Festival was held on 27th and 28th of November, 2018. On both the days, atmosphere of the school took a festive look. The programme began with the welcome ceremony of the Chief Guest, Mr. Asaram Jadhav Sir, the District Sports Officer of Akola, Mrs. Surekha Manwar Madam, Co-Founder of the school, Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam, the Principal of The Noel English High School, Akola, Mr. Anosh Manwar, the Principal of Noel School, Akola (CBSE) and Mr. Anul Manwar, the Headmaster of the Noel English Primary School, Akola. The theme for this year’s Sports Festival for Class 5 to 10 was ‘Resilience’ – the ability to be successful after any failure and defeat. The Sports Festival began by taking Guard of Honour and releasing balloons. The programme continued with the Torch Lighting Ceremony, March Past and followed by Oath Taking Ceremony. Then all witnessed colourful drills performed by the students of Class 5 to 9 based on and showcasing the spirit of the theme ‘Resilience’. The opening ceremony ended with the inspiring speeches of the Chief Guest and the Principal Sir. Then the much awaited track and field events such as Long Jump, High Jump, Running Race, Russian Relay Race, Shot Put, Discus Throw and Slow Cycling Race started. The next day Prize Distribution Ceremony was held. The medals and certificates were given away to the winners at the hands of Mr. Sanjay Deshmukh, the founder of Mahamruttunjay Gym and the Principals of CBSE and State Board Schools.
