04-10-2018 World Animal Welfare Day World Animal Welfare Day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm in the Noel School, Akola on 4th of October, 2018. The day was celebrated by Class 9 students. The main aim to celebrate this day is to raise the status of animals and to improve the habitat for animals around the world. Rohan Tale and Devesh Wankhade of Class 9 – Quebec hosted the programme. A video on this theme was presented and also a Poster Making Event was organized to create sensitivity regarding animals. Rujal Gawande (Class 9), Sanika Agnihotri (Class 8) and Rasika Kukade (Class 5) shared their experiences about their pets. Principal, Mr. Anosh Manwar guided the students and expressed his concern about the importance of animals and diminishing strength of animals and its effects in the biological world. He also expressed that the balance amongst the biological elements needs to be maintained for sustainable existence of living beings on the Earth. The programme ended with vote of thanks presented by Devesh Wankhade.
