On 24th of October, 2018, World Development Information Day was celebrated by Class 8 Students in Noel School, Akola (CBSE School). It is celebrated with the purpose to draw the attention of the world to development problems and need to strengthen international cooperation to solve them. The programme was celebrated with zeal. The programme was hosted by Vinay Golde followed by informative speech by Rushikesh Lothe. Arpit Ingle enlightened the students with the history and origin of the day. The significance of the programme was told by Aniket Tayade. The main agenda of the programme was to create awareness of the problems of development and emphasis on sustainable development goals. To talk and represent about the sustainable goals, a video was shown to the students who are the foremost catalysts. Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir, the Principal, emphasized on sustainable development goals and told students about difference between developed and developing countries. He also spoke about further betterment of international cooperation. At last the vote of thanks was presented by Atha rv Jadhao.
