World Youth Skills Day (15th July, 2019)
In December 2014, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution declaring 15th July as World Youth Skills Day. The goal is to achieve better social as well as economic conditions for today’s youth. The World Youth Skills Day was celebrated on 15th July, 2019 by Grade 4 Golf students. A wonderful skit was presented which gave a message that every youth should learn and improve skills. It was followed by a dance performance and an informative video. The programme was hosted by Madhu Katariya Miss. The students of Grade 9 – Zulu presented a skit depicting the advantages of having learnt skills. It gave a message that the youth should seek jobs but create jobs and start new businesses for themselves. Master Somesh Tathod delivered a speech encouraging the youth to take up learning skills. A video of the UNICEF was also shown to the kids. It was followed by a dance presentation by the students. The Principal, Mr. Anosh Manwar also expressed his views on the occasion.
