World Toilet Day 19-11-2019
Every year on November 19, people all around the world celebrate World Toilet Day to raise awareness regarding proper sanitation. More than one-third of the world’s population or 2.5 billion people still do not have access to proper toilets. Millions of lives can be saved if only proper sanitation was available to all. When you have to go, you have to go. But where you go matters. Grade 8 – Tango students celebrated the World Toilet Day with an informative video. Later on some facts were stated by students regarding the usage of toilets and proper health and sanitation. A skit was performed by some students reflecting the importance of usage of toilets in the rural areas. Next, two students explained the advantages and disadvantages of using toilets. At last, another video was shown related to cleaning and maintaining the hygiene after using the toilet. Ultimately after expressing the vote of thanks, the program was concluded.
