The winter solstice also known as midwinter occurs when one of the Earth’s poles had its maximum tilt away from the sun. The students of Grade 5 Happy Hoppers celebrated the Winter Solstice Day on 21st of December, 2019. Sayali and Utkarsha anchored the show. The programme started with a wonderful and informative video which followed with a skit on the occasion. Later students presented the melodious song – ‘It’s the first day of winter’ to welcome the winter solstice day. At the end of the programme, Rohit presented vote of thanks.
