The students of Grade 7 celebrated the International Day against Nuclear Tests enthusiastically on 29th of August, 2019. All the students were eager to know about the day and get information about the same. The programme was hosted by Anishka and Rani. Anushka gave information about the day mentioning about the inception and journey of this day. A video was also shown to students to explain the concept and the effects of a nuclear explosion on the surrounding. Tanashri and Sangram told the side effects of the Nuclear Weapons and the number of nuclear weapons different countries possess. Later a video was shown about the precautions that should be taken in case of a nuclear attack. Abhishek proposed the vote of thanks. Later Grade 2 – Zion also presented a programme on the same lines where they presented a musical dance and a skit on the story of the people surviving the atomic bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Mrs. Jaya Akhare hosted the show and Mrs. Poonam Mokalkar proposed the vote of thanks.
