Social Empowerment Work in Action (SEWA) programme is designed by CBSE to create awareness on addressing real world problems and serving the community.
Under this SEWA programme the students and teachers of Grade 10visited Gayatri Balika Ashram in Malkapur area of Akola. The students named this activity – ‘Let’s Light Up A Lamp in Others’ Life,. Students donated clothes, chocolates and crackers on the occasion of Diwali. It helped students perceive the hardship the orphan children go through and what they as students can do for them. It was a great experience for all the students.
